 Thankuni leaves (scientific name Centella asiatica, English name Indian Pennywort) is a well-known medicinal plant in Bangladesh and the Indian subcontinent.  It grows wild in the fields, ghats, high and low lands of Bengal.  That's why you don't have to take any care of it.  From time immemorial, the peasants of the village have been using it as a medicine to protect their families.  Thankuni leaves are widely known in the country and are used as medicine.

 It is widely used in Indian subcontinent and Bangladesh.

 Thankuni leaves are better known as Thankuni vegetables in the village.  In fact, we eat this vegetable with light bitter taste, fried, mashed, onion, pakora, raw and mixed with tea and juice easily.

 The leaves of Thankuni are very effective in curing and preventing diseases.  Direct intake of food is used as a way to cure diseases.  Fresh leaf juice is used for this purpose.

 In almost all the pharmaceutical companies of the modern world, the market is emerging as a patent with a reputation.

 Multiple health and nutrition studies have shown that regular consumption of thankuni leaves keeps all parts of the body healthy and functional from head to toe.

 And the benefit is to keep account of it, that is, there is no end to the benefits of thankuni leaves.

 Thankuni leaves reduce hair fall-

 According to Indian Ayurvedic scriptures, by regularly chewing or eating the juice of thankuni leaves, the scalp becomes stronger.  Hair fall levels decrease.

 The same amount of thankuni leaves, basil leaves make a paste in raw mango paste, when applied on the head, hair loss is reduced.  Apply on the scalp at least three days a week and wash for ten to fifteen minutes.  See for yourself what the benefits of hair are.

 ★ Thankuni leaves to dry the wound-

 The ingredient called spionis present in thankuni leaves is very effective in drying any wound on the body.  Applying thankuni leaves on the cut wound or newly cut area can provide immediate healing.

 Multiple enzymes present in thankuni leaves can increase digestion by eliminating normal gastric juice.  As a result, the problem of heartburn and indigestion is eliminated instantly.  For this, fresh leaves should be chewed regularly or eaten with juice.

 According to skin and nutrition experts, thankuni leaves contain beta carotene, phytochemicals and fatty acids to retain the beauty of the skin.  These ingredients work on the inside of the skin.  This increases the sheen of the skin.  This reduces the appearance of wrinkles and aging of the skin.

 According to Indian Ayurvedic scriptures, two teaspoons of thankuni leaf juice mixed with sugar twice a day can prevent diarrhea.

 ★ Thankuni leaves for stomach ailments-

 According to Indian Ayurvedic scriptures, the same amount of pineapple leaf juice mixed with thankuni leaves, mango peel juice mixed together gives all the benefits to the stomach and solves the worm problem.

 ★ Thankuni leaf juice reduces cough-

 According to Ayurveda, the juice of thankuni leaves is mixed with sugar, two teaspoons daily, and if you can eat it for a week, the cough will go away from your body.

 ★ Thankuni to reduce the severity of fever-

 Thankuni leaves have a magical role in reducing weather and seasonal fever.  Mix equal quantity of hibiscus leaf juice with thankuni leaf juice and take 1 teaspoon twice a day to reduce the incidence of fever.

★ Thankuni for relieving gastric ulcers.

 Mix 150 gms of sugar in half a liter of milk, add 50 gms of thankuni leaves and cook for 10 minutes.  Take 2 teaspoons of the mixture, eat it for a week and say goodbye to gastric ulcer forever.
